Does not stay in place on our carpet. I finally tucked the edges under the desk and the weight of desk holds it in place. Fortunately this was at a desk where I can do that.

The mat is fine. However the delivery was not: the delivery person didn't wait long enough for us to get to the door and simply tossed the unwrapped mat (no packaging at all) on the screen porch floor.
