It's not perfect but it was a great price and it serves its purpose! The reason it's not perfect is because the weight of my chair while I'm sitting at my desk creates divots in the floor mat so it's not always 100% smooth surface. I would need to get a thick hard plastic or glass floor mat in order to avoid this problem and I'm not prepared to spend that amount of money for a floor mat just so that I can have a perfectly smooth rolling experience when I slide from one end of my desk to the other. This is going to work perfectly fine for me!

it fits just right in the space I had in front of a small desk. Perfect protection for my engineered wood floor and the transparency does not take away from the looks of the floor. It stays put and does not slide around either.

When this mat arrived it was fairly warped probably from having been rolled up at the warehouse. Luckily the day after it arrived the sun was shining brightly. Placing the mat on the deck in the sun helped flatten it also putting some heavy books on the edges helped. If you're trying to decide between two mat weights definitely go for the thicker one. This medium pile mat seems to be barely sturdy enough even though the rug + pad are quite thin.
