Have an oriental overlaying wall-to-wall carpeting (a relic) and desk chair was always sticking. Don’t know why I waited so long to get the chair mat. It really helps greatly and enables chair movement freely.

I like the mat but unfortunately bought the chair online without seeing it and sitting in it. I like the color and the way the chair looks but sat in some chairs at Staples and they were much more comfortable and in the same price range. I plan to buy one from Staples to go with my mat. I already recommended it to my boyfriend.

If you are on carpet this is the mat for you. It doesn’t slide around because it has little prongs underneath to grip the carpet
