It was flat when I bought it so that made it very easy to lay on the floor. It has stayed flat and has not curled like previous mats. This is an excellent mat.

The mat is too soft too flexible. When placed on a carpet the wheels of the chair sink into the mat making it a real challenge to move the chair. I would rate it a 3-star product. It does the job but is as much a nuisance as it is an asset.
