I would have preferred this pad be thicker as I placed it on top of thick carpet. For the moment it seems to be doing fine supporting me and my desk chair.

It's described as being 36" x 48" inches. The description is accurate. It is described as being "Crystal Clear." It's more translucent than clear but it is exactly as I expected. If it is like the mat it is replacing it won't last forever but it will last for five or ten years. There's really not much else to say. But Staples told me they really wanted my review (I bet they say that to you too when you purchase from them) so here it is.

The mat is thin and flimsy. It slides out of position. The chair leaves indentations and chair will not slide on the mat. A total waste of money.
