Seems like this chair mat will meet my home office needs perfectly although I've had it less than a week and haven't used it much yet. It has good weight and grips the medium pile carpet well.

I tend to replace these every couple of years. The office carpet is typical short office carpet so this chair mat should last forever. Unfortunately it develops cracks after a few years and needs to be replaced. I'll continue to buy them but are generally disappointed thus my 3 star rating.

It’s ok right away the chair made impressions without sitting in the chair. It will do its purpose just wish it didn’t get impressions so quickly and wish it were stronger.
