The size is good. Plastic is too thin as on carpet the wheels of office chair makes 4 dents that makes it hard to roll after sitting for a while. Dents do not go away so chair tend to roll into the dents. The grips on the bottom keep the mat from moving.

Pretty good for carpeted office

I knew that getting a pad to put on the floor for my office chair would be a problem because my home office is carpeted. Having said that this actually worked better than I had anticipated. Yes it does give a bit and if you are sitting in the same place for a while it will allow the chair wheels to sink in a bit so you have to exert a little pressure to move the chair. But it is definitely protecting my carpet and is allowing my office chair to move around much more easily than when it was only on the carpet.
