I expected that it would not immediately develop indentations--it is the right type of mat for my carpet. Those indentations make it difficult to smoothly roll and in fact I have to push very hard to get it out of the ruts. I guess I would recommend it because I don't know if there is anything better or not. (Does not slide means that it stays put on carpet and doesn't refer to rolling on top in the chair).
NOT THICK ENOUGH. I HAD PURCHASED ANOTHER ONE AT STAPLE 3/4 YEARS AGO. IT WAS VERY GOOD. THOUGHT THIS WAS THE SAME. NOPE TO THIN . WISH I COULD RETURN AND PAY THE DIFFERENCE FOR A THICKER ONE....
Every chair pad I've owned has eventually cracked. Their real value is measured by the length of time till cracking. Since I've had this one for only a very short time it's really too early to tell if it will produce the value I hope it will.
I bought one to try (need two or three). It's perfect. The price is about half of what you will find on other sites. Says something about their markup!
