I use the chair mat on my painted concrete floor because the rollers on the computer chair wear away the paint on the floor. The only bad thing about the chair mat is that the spikes on the bottom side wear down after a while due to the rollers on the computer chair.

Hard wood Mat

product was as advertised. size was good for the location we needed to place it in. we haven't had this too long but it appears it will perform satisfactory for our use. main concern was to not damage new hardwood floor in an office in which we use rolliing chairs. This is the second one we have ordered. Both came from their warehouse. Both we pretty dusty and dirty. Had to wash them before placing on floor. The second one was pretty bent up but put it outside in sun on driveway and it straightened out. Other than that no complaints about the product.

Not thick or rigid enough for plush

I wish I could say this mat is perfect but I was disappointed to find that it was bendable enough to be rolled and put into a box for shipping. I expected it to be too rigid for that. It's a nice mat but not thick enough or rigid enough for plush carpet with a thick pad underneath. It would probably be best on low pile carpet with a thinner pad.

Good product-should ship flat not rolled

I purchased this product for my boss as a replacement. It's exactly what I wanted except that they shipped it rolled up and took me a week to get it to lay flat and he had a hard time rolling his chair on it until then.

Use in my office at home on carpet don't think it will last very long due to it not be a very thick mat.

I replaced my thicker rigid mat with one of the thinner versions. Hopefully this will not crack like the other did.
