Good mat to protect hardwood floors

Just installed hardwood floor in my home office and wanted to protect it from my office chair so purchased this mat. Good quality at a decent price.

I buy a new one about every 2 years for my home office area (its my primary area in the apt). I do a lot of up/down and rolling around - more so than when I was at work. The govt buys JUNK.

This mat is used daily at a computer desk. Chair remains near the same spot all the time. Have owned less than one year and already the cracks are substantial enough to need replacement.

No need for a more expensive chairmat

I purchased this chairmat for my home office. It sits on the type of carpet one uses in their home (not commercial grade). I was concerned that it would not be adequate that I would need a thicker product. I took a chance on it. It works just fine. I'm very pleased.
