Works well on Berber carpet

The mat works pretty well on Berber carpet although I think I would go with the ultra plush mat for cut pile carpet.

Have used 2 of these mats for 7 years and they have served well. No moving around on the floor and no discoloration of vinyl. I have one on a hardwood floor under a computer chair and the second one on a very low pile area rug under a large desk chair. The one on the rug does not slide around much at all. As a side note.....I have a hardwood floor in my kitchen. To prevent denting my wood floor when I pull out my large refigerator to clean behind it I use one of these mats right in front of the fridge under the wheels -- works like a charm and the fridge rolls in & out smoothly. Works in front of washers/dryers too. I've seen appliance stores use the same type mat when installing appliances in homes.

Protecting the Rental Deposit

These things aren't cheap but it was suggested to us that a mat like this might protect our rental deposit when and if we ever want to move. Working great so far.

I bought this to use on the new carpeting in my office. Doesn't slide at all. Spacious size allows me to utilize my whole desk. Great buy.

I actually cut a large mat in half lengthwise and it held up really well to cutting for narrower passageways.

It'll do to protect my carpet

The mat looks fine where I need to protect new carpet. since i just bought it I don't know how it will hold up over time or if it's going to discolor... Can there really be a huge difference in plastic floor mats?!

I wanted these to use underneath tables to protect the carpet where the preschool children eat. They are working so great! Spills are wiping right up and they are looking good !!!!
