Quality Item!

My previous chair mat lasted a very respectable five and a half years before beginning to crack. I wanted an equally high quality product as a replacement but had budget constraints that required some careful shopping and comparing. Eureka! This Staples chair mat was the perfect answer to my needs. The size may not work for some but it is exactly right for my office configuration. Great product. VERY happy customer!

Works very well

For some reason I failed to notice the short pile carpet in our home office was beginning to show failure in the underneath padding. I shopped the internet to find what is available and found the plastic type chair mat. It is helping keep the condition from getting worse. Now the chair moves ever so easy on the new pad which is a bonus

My chair causes depressions in the pad because the pad it too thin. These depressions cause the chair to be unmovable.

Not worth buying at any price

the plastic is so thin that any weight in the middle where the chair and person goes causes the ends to turn up and the pad moves freely. This was so bad that I returned it and bought the thicker model. You should discontinue this garbage and make sure that any Staples branded product is a quality product like Craftsman or Kenmore is for sears. This is not even worthy of a dollar store.

Excessive curling during transit

It took several days for the Chair Mat to uncurl and lay flat. Chair Mat was flat in store - curing occurred during transit while rolled-up in my car. I recommend rolling "bottom in" such that the curl can be managed by placing the chair or other heavy object to assist with uncurling.

This chair mat that I bought in the Frazer Pa Staples is of great quality. it protects my carpet and is easy to roll my chair on. The good folks at my Staples did a amazing job by telling me that this was a great chair mat. I would buy this again without any hesitiation!
