Good product overall

It is really for thinner carpet. I don't have a high pike carpet but apparently thicker than for what this mat is intended. It will lift on the edges when my chair gets rolled close to the outside edges due to the thickness of the carpet and the fact that the mat isn't as thick as it would need to be for more sturdiness.

They do not hold up[ very well. The one I replaced only lasted a bit over a year and then it began to crack up/ I was not able to find the better quality one.

I had hoped from reading the description that the mat would make it much easier to roll my desk chair. Instead it made it a little easier. Maybe the pile on my carpet is thicker than I judged. Still it is easier.

I read the reviews that this chair mat wasn't that sturdy for chairs but I wanted it for my cat litter. My cats can't seem to keep the litter inside the box. They manage to get it all over the rug surrounding the litter box. It occurred to me that this plastic mat would be ideal to keep the litter from getting into the rug. So for my purposes it works great. It probably would crack with my desk chair after a few months.

I really hope it lasts longer that the last one I got which was a different brand. I think that a fair review of this product should be conducted after a couple of years. Durability is the only consideration for this product and I've only had it a short while.
