Indentations Make it Hard to Move

Purchased this chair mat in February 2013 for the office. GOOD: The size covers most of the area under the desk and back far enough to reach the bookshelf. It doesn't slide around on the carpet. BAD: It quickly develops large semi-permanent indentations when a 185 lbs male is sitting in the chair. These indentations do not disappear quickly and require extra effort to move the chair from spot to spot which defeats the purpose of the mat. However it is better than trying to move the chair on the carpet.

It's a good concept but it moves way too much. Have to constantly readjust it to stay under the chair. Definitely needs deeper "teeth".

I bought the new chair mat because mine was worn. This one does not do the job. My chair does not slide around on it at all. It sticks and I have to get out of my chair to move it from place to place. I have an L shape work station and it simply does not function. I would be better off just going without it and sliding on the carpet...

Perfect fit for our needs

The purchase was for a carpet mat for my legally-blind mother in law who uses this under a table with her magnifier/reader. She needs to move easily but SAFELY from walking with her walker or two canes to the comfort and support of a desk chair on wheels. This particular mat was the perfect size to fit the carpet under her table has the necessary flat surface to accommodate the wheels on the chair and her walker and the proper thickness so that she doesn't fear catching her shoe or slipper on the edge as she would with a thicker mat. We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase!

more flexable than old mat so chair rollers sink in a bit. Mat has not cracked and does not hold roller marks

One of my problem was the difficulty in cutting this material to fit my desk space We solve the problem by picking up my desk and slide it under. I have a very heavy desk My chair rolls easy on it
