I purchased two mats to butt up beside one another in front of my very wide desk area. My office chair that’s on casters sinks into the rather thin/soft plastic material in such a way that dents into the surface are noticeable in addition to it is difficult to smoothly roll my chair f/ one side of the mat to the other. I am disappointed w/ my purchase as a result. Prior purchases of similar mats (f/Staples) over the years did not have this issue. Apparently the thickness/quality is not the same as in year’s past. I cannot recommend this product for this reason.

Unfortunately chair mats for me only last a few years so this was a replacement one. My local Staples did not have my size in stock so I had to order it online. Apparently the one ordered wasn't delivered due to an issue with the item so I received the chair mat a day later no problem. So far so good cleats are definitely needed for my area of rug. I just wish they had a smaller size available.

Love that this mat came flat instead of rolled in a box—saves packaging AND there’s no need to wait for it to flatten out. Nubs on the underside help hold it in place on the carpet so my chair easily moved across it.

Product installed ok and flattened out as label said. Seems thin. Question is will it stand up to desk chair rolling over it or will it crack and fail like previous one. Review should look at product 6 months after installation.
