Does not work on Tile Floor

This mat does not function as described. It does have a "textured" back but not enough to stay put on tile. Very disappointed with product.

Pricey but effective

We purchased this after not finding 'soft' replacement wheels for a desk chair under $60. Those that we did find had a threaded shaft that were too loose and the chair design disallowed getting a nut and washer to hold them fast. Hint to Staples on pricing! However this is about the mat not the wheels. It looks good and is quite functional. I would like to see them offered with both horizontal and vertical print designs in order to match the flooring pattern ... ours is crosswise to the floor grain. Time will tell how this compares & lasts to the clear plastic mats with teeth you use on carpet. I would also like to see a clear version without the carpet teeth. All in all one of our better floor protection purchases.

Chair Mat Suceeds

I use it on a wooded floor with a 5 wheel office chair. It moves easier on the chaior mat than it did on the floor with its narrow boards.

Using it in my office on HWD floors

I wanted to protect my hardwood floors. This is why I purchased the floor mat. It has worked fine for me. I have not had any problems. Would recommend this to other people.

Dresses up an otherwise boring space

This is an attractive floor mat. I used to have the clear one but it cracked easily. This one does not crack. My chair wheels have scratched it up some but that is to be expected and it is better than cracking. I am surprised that I like the wood grain coloring. I didn't think I would but it does dress up the space a little bit and matches the other furniture in the office. My only complaint is that it does slide around on the carpet. I have thin carpet though and that may be the reason.

This mat is a dream price was excellent. especially if you had to refinish your hardwood floor as I did. I will never be without a mat like this. Thankful I saw this mat at Staples and did not buy it then however before I got home I turned around went back and bought the mat. THEN I had my hardwood floor refinished and put down the mat. If you have hardwood floors this mat is a MUST
