I thought the photo looked more like a smooth Matt finish. But it is shiny and has a cheep looking texture.

The chair mat is as advertised. I am not happy about the way it was shipped. The mat wasn’t packaged at all. It had shipping stickers stuck to it and dirty foot prints and black marks all over it. With a lot of elbow grease I was able to clean it.
