Issues with keyboard tray

It's decent but the screws that came with the product that are meant to attach the key-board tray would not tighten down. They line up and are meant to tighten into some inlaid bolts but it would not tighten (just kept spinning) so I had to improvise and use my own screws. I'm also having trouble getting it to lock into place in the sitting position. Simply lowering the keyboard doesn't cut it; I have to slam it down for it to lock. Sometimes when I slam it down it causes the keyboard tray to come off completely. There is hardware which is meant to tighten down to prevent this but as hard as I tighten it it still pops up. Otherwise it's nice to be able to stand when desired.
The desk has been working out well for me. There was almost nothing that needed to be done to set it up.The keyboard tray has to be attached to the desk but it was pretty easy and straightforward. Raising and lowering the desk is quite simple. There is one lever that you squeeze as you either push the desk down or give it a little lift. I have two 25” monitors on it and there is plenty of room. The slot in the front is a nice place to stash your iPhone or iPad (it holds my iPad Pro in a case). I’m 6’3” and the desk gets plenty high enough for me. My biggest knock is that the keyboard tray is very slick and my keyboard tended to slide around until I put a pad underneath it.
I'd wanted an adjustable desk for years. The special offer through Staples made it affordable enough for me to purchase it. My company can't afford to provide them for everyone who works at a desk. Being able to change from sitting to standing is better for my health and so incredibly easy to switch back and forth. I wish others in my office could afford to get it .
I have a nice standing desk set up and my coworker wanted a similar one (this one) This one doesn't move up and down as smoothly. its a little longer than we expected.
