Drum for Brother Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my new Brother printer drum assembly in the mail a few days ago and installed it easily in my printer. I have printed thousands of pages through my printer and now with the new drum unit it prints like new. Zero setup required for me. Just plug and play so to speak. It`s working great...we should get another several years out of this printer.Thanks for a great product!

I had bought a recycled drum and new toner because dym light was "on" and printer wouldn't print jobs. I purchased a remanufactued drum and new toner and replaced them. Unfortunately the drum light remains on and the printer still will not print jobs so it was a waste of money.

Did you clear the drum setting after installing?

I notice a few people getting an error message to change teh drum after installing this drum. Did you open the front of the machine go through the settings to parts life via machine info hold down the # key until the reset icon appears on the screen? Otherwise you will get a false count of number of pages printed. That's what triggers the display warning. Good Luck!

the cartridge and I bought 3 do not work they make noise and will not print Hope I get a refund had to run out and buy original ones this was the worst cartridges I have ever bought Knock offs work better than these Again do not buy

Staples Sustainable Earth Remanufactured Drum Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far unit seems functionally identical to brand-name alternatives. Capacity remains untested but printed about 30 sheets with no issues. Packaging reminds you to recycle which is always nice.
