I loaded the toner and the printer did not recognize it ("need to replace toner"). But the toll-free Staples contact (listed on the packing slip) walked me through reprogramming the printer (manually e.g. "press the On [or + I forget by now] button 9 times now 5 times" - it was like entering a code) and it worked! Note also: "toner save" is perfectly fine for reading purposes and file copies. If you're in a for long WFH that may be the SOP.

Longest lasting toner cartridge I have EVER purchased

I'm not entirely sure if I just got lucky or if some other reviewers got unlucky however I have been using this same toner cartridge for MONTHS now. I have been through more than a whole box of paper with it. I have no idea how but this thing is still cranking it out left and right. I use the "hack" to reset my printer when it's stops printing because of "toner life end" which is as follows (for a Brother MFC-L2680W): Open the front cover like you're going to replace a toner and leave it open. Display will read "Front cover open" Hold down the "OK" button for a few seconds Display will read "Replace Drum" DO NOT FOLLOW PROMPTS ON SCREEN Type in *00 (star zero zero) on the keypad Close the cover Your toner is now reset! I also usually take the toner cartridge out and bang it against the inside of my trashcan a few times to re-distribute the toner. I have reset it about 4 times since I started using this cartridge. It's honestly blowing my mind it has lasted FAR longer than name brand and definitely longer than any other off brand I have ever bought. Every year in July and December I have to make new "books" for each of our trucks with updated/renewed paperwork. I usually go through at least one cartridge but this one has been going strong since before I made those books and here it is October and I'm still using the same one. Outstanding! There for a while it was not printing as dark so I gave it a good beatin' in the trash can and boom good as new. So far it has not made any streaks or any spotting on any of my printed papers. I just added another one to my cart because this is too good to pass up!

If I can rate zero I would. I purchased 2 cartridge's Sept 15th. I replaced 1st cartridge within 1 month (normally lasts for 3 months) I needed to replace 2nd cartridge within 3 weeks. (I did not print 2600 pages) I normally do not purchase remanufactured but thought would give it a try....I regret it.

The reman units are great and save our farm office a lot of money while still printing clean and crisp as the other name brand toners do.

We were offered these towels by Staples online as a better alternative for the Kleenex roll towels we usually get. There was a lot more footage so I agreed. I am sending them back today as they are terrible. It's not worth the money savings!
