Quality is slipping and yields are not acccurate

These remanufactured toner cartridges are coming in with toner having leaked out from the sides and the yields are short. I just ordered 2 of these on 08/04/21 for my home office and I am already replacing the first cartridge. They normally last about 3 months each. My volume of printing has been the same but I do not have the printed page counts for that time period. Also in an order from late January one came in defective BUT Staples did give me a prompt refund when I dropped it off at the UPS store for return. I am going back to OEM cartridges and pricing them out online. The remanufactured cartridges quality has declined steadily over the last year.

great quality remanufactured ink cartridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Staples Remanufactured Black High Yield Toner Cartridge Replacement for Brother TN660 as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a Brother HL-L2360DW laser printer that I love so it's important to me to be able to find replacement toner cartridges for it even though it's an older model. It was time to change out the toner cartridge so I was happy to try a remanufactured/recycled version. Installation was fairly intuitive though it didn't really come with great instructions. But if you pay attention when taking the old one out it's easy to see how the new one goes in. It came packaged in a sealed plastic bag so there wouldn't be any leakage. You just take it out of the bag take the plastic head cover off and pull the sealing tape off of it and pop it into the spot where the old one was. The cartridge itself looks identical to the old one I had and seems sturdy. No problems in shipment. Came packaged well in a cardboard box inside another cardboard box. I just used it to print out my lengthy tax forms from last year and it did a great job. Blacks are super black grey tones are good and printing is even across the pages. I print out a lot of photographs and graphics in black and white and greytones for my art so this will be helpful as the old one was clearly running out and not printing well. I'm happy it's made from recycled parts and is packaged in eco-conscious recyclable materials. I'd definitely recommend trying one of these out as it's a good quality product and great value.

TRU RED™ Remanufactured Black Toner Cartridge JUST PLAIN WORKS!

I bought two used Brother MFC-L2740DW printers with new (non-Brother non-original) toner cartridges and drums and the printing was just atrocious (BOTH!). Very disappointing! But after doing some research I thought that the problem might be the cheap $10-15 eBay toner cartridges the guy included in the sale. I'm normally very leery of non-OEM toner and cartridges (I don't refill old cartridges with new toner either) but I hadn't paid too much for the 2 printers - so I decided to take a chance with Staples and TRU RED (because of the "Satisfaction Guaranteed or Money Back"). I only bought ONE TRU RED cartridge. The TRU RED cartridge printed PERFECTLY and now I understand why these printers have such great original reviews. I ABSOLUTELY DO AND WILL RECOMMEND TRU RED toner cartridges from Staples!! And I am ordering an additional TRU RED cartridge for the other printer from Staples! BUY THESE they JUST WORK!
