Simple to use and a fun effect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my 6 year old because she is getting very into different kinds of markers. They are fun to use—I like to write with them too! Obviously this review is from the perspective of just using them for fun in a very low stakes manner (not a professional calligrapher or anything) so keep that in mind. Since we have been playing around with them, I have some advice to avoid user error: 1) you should know that they leak through paper pretty easily and since these are permanent you will want to make sure to put some sort of barrier underneath so you don’t damage your table or wherever you are drawing. 2) If you leave a marker in one place too long the color outline can soak in and get uneven or blotchy so if you want it to be consistent you have to move at a consistent speed. I think these markers are a lot of fun and allow you to make cool looking designs with not much skill required!

Pretty but Messy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my art and drawing loving daughters. They are really cool as they are silver with a colored outline and are perfect for lettering projects to make a statement. Be very careful when first getting the ink into the tip as even with a light push, the ink puddles out and makes a big mess. The ink also bleeds through the paper so utilize something underneath when writing so the ink doesn't bleed onto your furniture. I would recommend these pens for the 10 and up crowd.

These markers are very nice. You do have to be careful which paper you use, because the outline doesn't show on certain types of paper. I enjoyed writing with them and creating,

Most of them didn’t work

Bought this product to make tags for Christmas presents. Out of the 4 markers I tried, only 1 worked like it was supposed to. I followed all directions but like some of the other reviews have stated, the green and black just looked a little more shiny. The blue marker already had ink on the tip when I opened it. It wrote with no silver color. I tried to prime it but the ink was so watery it poured out. So far only the red marker was silver with a red outline. I haven’t tried pink or purple yet. These markers do look neat when they work correctly but it’s kind of a risk that you won’t get a full pack of working markers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
