I read the bad reviews and they enhanced my diligent adherence to directions. I did exactly as Avery said and the transfer worked like a charm. The back came off easy for me. I left a tab and ripped a little bit and the back peeled off easily. Then I cut the tab off. Simple
Pros: Worked Perfectly. I followed the Directions.

I really enjoy making my own shirts for certain events and I used this product for the first time since I was using a dark camouflage tank top. The shirt turned out great. It was a little difficult peeling the product, but everything still turned out perfect. I washed the shirt before ironing the product on, but I haven't washed the shirt after crafting because I'm afraid the product will peel off.

Good transfers!

I enjoy coaching my sons' flag football teams. And these transfer make for really cheap coach's shirts. For $25, I can make 5 shirts with 1 pkg of transfers. I can even do them without the wife's help (actually she'd just screw it up). The Jaguars shirt was used the most and it took a beating... so 4 out 5 stars!

Backing is IMPOSSIBLE!

I would like to start by saying that I am a huge AVERY fan and use many of your products in both business & personal tasks. I have used your T-shirt transfers many times, but this was the first time to use the Dark transfer. I will say that NEVER again will I purchase these for use unless there is a re-design of the backing paper. The design printed beautifully & once I was able to get the backing off (never completely, there were always snippets of paper left on the design) they ironed on easily. The issue is the backing is not designed to peel easily. I made 4 shirts and it took over 30 minutes to remove the backing per shirt (2 hours total). I had to eventually use an Exacto and score the back enough that I was able to get it to lift in a small section, and once that was complete I had to rub the remaining paper with my finger to get it off the print. I still love the Avery products and will continue to use them, but not this particluar item!
Pros: Dries Quickly, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Too Expensive
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used these transfers for my graduation cap and some trip t-shirts. Once applied they look great, however it was REALLY hard to peel the back off of most of the sheets I used.
Pros: Easy To Customize, Durable Construction, Color Variety
