gevalia coffee

I love Gevalia but this time I purchased the medium ground roast & was disappointed. My usual brand is Lavazza and it tends to be a stronger coffee’. When I made this Gevalia I used the same amount as I do of Lavazza. The coffee was so strong we had to dump it out and use half of the coffee, it still was strong & bitter. Has Gevalia changed the contents of its coffee?

Not as great as their classic blend

Wouldn’t repurchase; their classic roast is much better than their house blend. There are other coffees I would buy before this one.

Coffee perfection

Since discovering this coffee about a year ago I have purchased nothing else. The smell is out of this world right out of the bag! It claims medium bodied and I agree but I can definitely brew a deep dark pot with less water on those days I want an extra kick! Very smooth and creamy taste. Subtle caramel side to it. I’ve been hooked to this brand for the past couple months and definitely still am. Price point is good and the taste of the coffee is super delicious and bold. Strongly recommend.

Not enough flavor

I LOVE coffee. This coffee is just ok. I prefer a bolder flavor. The flavor is weak to me. The packing is cute. I would want something a little bolder though. I find it pricey for what I'm getting. I won't but this again. I recommend this to people that don't like strong coffee taste.

Won’t drink any other coffee

Be prepared to be unsatisfied with EVERY other brand once you’ve tried Gevalia. I couldn’t find any when the pandemic began and I was so unhappy. (Big time first world problem,I know!) this coffee has just the right intensity and flavor. Maybe a bit more expensive but worth every penny.
