DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE LAMINATE FLOORING!!!!!!

I purchased this chair mat about 8 months ago to use to protect my brand new Pergo XP flooring (one of the best laminates on the market). Yesterday I checked underneath the mat while doing major house cleaning. The Pergo XP flooring under the mat is very much so damaged from it. DO NOT BUY. I hope Staples stands behind its merchandise and replaces my Pergo XP flooring (about 12 - 14 square feet of it) plus labor !

I've just been using this chair mat for a couple of days. It is made of resin which prevents the coasters of my office chair to slide as is the problem with the hard plastic chair mats. Exactly what I was looking for. Hope that it is durable.

This mat is a nice thickness. It is a good mat for the price. Also I liked that the "spikes" on the underneath side are not so sharp like my previous mat. Note it does not have a lip. I didn't notice that [lack of] feature when I ordered but it works fine. Also I did not notice when I ordered that it is black. My previous mat was clear but it doesn't really matter. I should read the item description more carefully.

Tough black floor protector

I like this floor protector it comes rolled up but becomes flat quite quickly and there is no plastic smell. The texture of the surface is attractive and the mat is very strong. The roller chair I am using will probably mark the surface eventually but you wont notice as the texture will hide it. Great product. I am using it in a room mostly dark hardwood and the combination of black mat and dark wood looks fantastic.

just got chair

so far is comfortable; store seemed a bit disorganized. took over 1/2 an hour for pick up. personnel helpful but something is keeping things from running as smoothly as they should. ordered floor mat; came in was black was never told it came in black store able to give me one from their display which was clear in color. whomever took order should have noted color.
