This mat doesn't stay in place --- it slips all over. It slides into my desk and the chair moving on it causes it to bend and warp and then it won't lay flat. I would not recommend for constant use on carpet --- I find myself fighting with it constantly.

I really like this chair mat. Not only does it look 100% better than those clear plastic ones but it hold up well too! I've had it for a length of time now and no cracks or other issues. (It's a little soft so I actually put it over the old plastic one for support). Definitely a keeper!

this is a great looking mat...but it is too pliable and keeps rolling up and bending at the edges...also the backside is smooth as top surface so nothing keeps it in place on carpet floor constantly bunching up (had no idea plastic could even do that)...disappointed.
