First tried this delightful flavored coffee several years ago. Purchased it from a retail store on a whim, and found it quite pleasing. It was limited in availability since it was a seasonal item. Nice to have it available so early in the season.
I found this coffee a couple years ago and fell in love. I described it as Christmas in a cup with a perfect cinnamon flavor. I purchased several boxes each year making sure to buy a few extras after Christmas and before it was off the shelves. This year I was so excited to see it on the shelves again bought two large boxes. While brewing the first cup I noticed it did not small as I remembered it. I tasted it and was disappointed that it was not as I remembered. I looked online only to find out they changed the recipe to be all natural flavors . The new blend is no good in my opinion it has a strong maple syrup flavor that is overwhelming and I don’t taste cinnamon at all. This is so disappointing because most of the coffee/ creamers variety out there that have cinnamon are also overwhelming sweet with Carmel or vanilla flavoring. I will be returning my unopened box and trying to give the open box away. I’m very sad they felt the need to change such a good coffee.
I have been buying this coffee for years and it’s been my favorite since day 1. I recently ordered 4 boxes and when I brewed my first cup I noticed it smelled like maple. The taste is also different and not what I am used to. The recipe has definitely changed. I feel very ripped off and I won’t be purchasing again unless they fix this issue. Very disappointed!
This is NOT the same Cinnamon Sugar Cookie as last year (or years prior). It tastes way too sweet and chemically, nothing like a legit cinnamon sugar cookie. Naturally, there was no warning; you can't find ingredient lists or nutrition facts; and rather than keep the classic and simply create a new flavor, they poached the name and wrecked the taste. Is this a supply chain thing re: pandemic or inflation? Is this a cost saving measure (those almost never go well)? Really disappointed. This was my favorite and only coffee I drank for years. Time to find a new one.
