I am a first-time buyer for this laser cassette. It works as expected. I'm sure I will try TRU RED(tm). The only question I have is what do I do with my old cassette? I would like to recycle it but there were no instructions in the packaging telling me what to do with my old unit. If there was I missed them.

This is the second one of these drums that I bought. The Brother brand was getting too expensive so I decided to train this. The last one was fine. I just installed this one today and cannot get rid of the "drum needs to be replaced light." The copies are coming out faded and scratchy looking. Just like they do when you need to replace the drum. Now I have to go through the hassle of exchanging this. Have also had a nightmare with Staples delivery service to my home. Constant delays. They can't seem to deliver without my making many phone calls to customer service in the last few months.

I Put the cartridge in and it works fine. However I had to call the number on John instruction sheet to find right sequence in the printer setting to reset the drum life counter. The printer instruction book did not have the information but the drum instruction paper had a number to call and they answered and gave me the information I needed right away .
