You get what you pay for

Face it. You get what you pay for. When delivered I was actually kind of impressed with the construction. It looks thick enough and it does a good job at not moving around. However after a week of using it though I can see the indentations and creases forming. If I get 6 months out of it I'll be lucky. For now it is protecting new low-pile carpeting but I will make a more sizeable investment in a higher quality product the next time.

I purchased two of these chairmats for a home office. Previous chairmats cracked after a relatively short time; these chairmats are much thicker than those cracked ones and I hope will last much longer. Only time will tell and I am writing this review right after receiving the chairmats.

To thin for low weave padded carpet

There was no information that it could not be used for padded carpet. A rolling 4 double wheel secretary chair makes identations in the mat which makes it harder to roll. I would never buy another one

I use this on carpet and it seems to not have enough thickness. I had it for only 3 days now and I am worried that it may get damaged from my chair's tires. There maybe a hole there soon. I will wait to see how it performs.
