I got one of these years ago and that one was good. This one is flimsy. It comes all rolled up and will not lie flat when opened. I put mine out in the Arizona heat with weights on it on my back porch for a day to try to flatten t. That helped but some of the edges just won't flatten- they are curled up on the corners and you catch your foot on them.

I purchased this chair mat to replace one that I'd only had for a few months as I could not get the one I had to stay in position. I'm happy to report that after 3 weeks this mat is holding up extremely well. The construction is much heavier duty than my previous one and it seems to be staying in position very well. I'm expecting fairly long life based on m experience so far. Very satisfied with my purchase so far.

Great chair mat

Had new carpet installed in office. Needed mats so that chairs could roll smoothly under desk. The price was great for these mats and they work fine. They adhered very quickly to the new carpets no moving around once they were laid. They are large enough so that your chair does not roll off of them once placed. The mats look really nice and I would definitely buy them again as needed. The size is just right for the areas that I needed them in. The cost was comparable but much better than I expected. I would recommend them.

I use chair mats so often because they crack on me too easily. Years ago I used to buy the most expensive ones which lasted for years; but for the past 10 years no matter the cost of the mat it will crack. So I spend less money and just replace the mat as needed.
