Staples Flat Pile Carpet Chair Mat Lip

This chair mat in our home is doing just we expected it to do. We just had new carpeting installed and wanted to protect it - along with making it easier for the computer chair to be able to move back and forth easily. The Chair Mat has little tabs on the bottom which allow it to keep in place and not shift around. Our wheeled chair easily glides over the mat - even while we're sitting in the chair - and allows us to move closer to the computer and back again in very easy motions. I would recommend this item to anyone who has carpeting near the desk where the computer is located.

It's Ok but...

is smaller than I thought. For the price it does the job. If you have a wide area you need under your desk get the next size.

I don't like it. To thin and has wear holes from chair already sitting on it. Sticks in the wear spots and have to push to move

New carpet = must have plastic mat. The mat was delivered quickly and makes my working all day much easier now I can roll around.

Works for my purposes

Bought the mat for home office because of having carpet and got tired of trying to roll my chair on the carpet. This mat could have been a little bit thicker; because if you sit in your chair on the mat in one spot to long it sinks a bit in (this is why I give only 4 stars). But once you move or get up for a short time it pops back out. I am really glad to have purchased this. For the excellent price I got it for I would do it again if I need another one.

They are not as thick as I would have liked and they took along time to flatten even in the sun Other wise they are okay
