The mat was delivered folded like a taco shell by several long strips of packing tape. When I removed the packing tape the adhesive from the tape remained stuck on the top surface of the mat. I have not been able to remove the adhesive yet. After working at my desk for a week the mat now has ugly dirt and lint racing stripes.

Works perfect on my flat pile carpet. The chair rolls easily and does not dimple it sits in one position for awhile. Highly recommend it.

Works great smooth top and the spikes on the bottom keep it in place. no need for tape or anything else to hold it in place.
