Another mat that eventually cracks!

I was hoping this mat would crack over time where the office chair wheels meet the mat.

I like the shape and style. However I had another one years ago that was the best in comparison to this one. I can't find another one like it. It was much stronger thicker and durable. It didn't make impressions in the plastic when I sat in the chair at my desk. Also the nubs on the bottom of the mat don't dig in to the carpet enough to stabilize it's position. Wish I could find another one like the old one. They just don't make um like they use to.

the chair mat was a replacement for a previously purchased staples mat. I thought it was identical to the old one but it seems to be slightly thinner than the old one. I am concerned that it might wear out sooner. we'll see how it performs.
