An Easy "Stretch" for these Rubber Bands

One of my favorite projects as a wood worker is making Tessellated clipboards or tops for wooden boxes. The problem comes in trying to clamp three parallelograms of wood together so they can be glued-up to form a perfect hexagon. Some mind greater than mine came up with the idea that if you have rubber bands large enough to be doubled around the blank you are creating and use 3 around each hexagon it creates a self centering perfect "Blank." So while many people think of Rubber Bands as merely an office cat's-paw I have found they make the perfect wood working clamp. These Rubber Bands were the perfect size for my project they were a good bargain for the price and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others for this use.
