Durable but smell awful!

I purchased these rubber bands approximately three to four weeks ago. I use them to bundle blueprints and other drawings as well as sets of bound reports that we mail out by the box full. They are very durable extremely affordable and are just the right size. The only (and main) drawback is the stench. Everything in our supply cabinet reeks and you can detect the odor on that side of the room even when the cabinet door has been shut for a long weekend! The stench is a mix of dead rat in the crawlspace and mothballs. I am double-bagging them to see if this will contain the odor. It's a shame because they are great rubber bands besides the odor. Staples please fix this!

These are awesome rubber bands!In fact I would say these are the best stretchiest strong rubber bands I have ever had the privelage of using. I would reccommend these to my family freinds and even my enemies they are that good!

I have been using the #64 rubber bands for more than 15 years. These rubber bands are the perfect size for holding opened remittance envelopes that have to be checked by another department. They also last a very long time without getting hard and can stretch quite far without snapping. The price for these rubber bands is very reasonable which is great because we use so many of them at one sitting. One thing I did not do was check to see if there was a bigger bag on the shelf. That I will do next time I go to Staples.

A Good Rubber Band

These are excellent rubber bands. The 3 1/2" band will stretch to cover a packet of hard-card stock 1 1/2" thick x 7" long. Great Product. They are also very good in a rubber band gun provide sufficient 'ouch' factor and will shoot across the room. They appear to be of good quality and appear will hold the strength for many months. Not like the cheap ones that deteriorate after several weeks. They hold up well under-water and can go through the wash. Looking for to using them in my garden to stake plants.
