Followed the instructions for installing and the mat flattened out nicely. The mat appears to be heavy duty and should last a "lifetime " if not it will be returned for replacement. I made sure to save all the paperwork and receipts. I would recommend this product.

Matt is too thin period. Chair wheels dig deep into the matt/carpet. Much different than the smooth glide of my previous matt (worn out after 10-yrs). I guess it provides carpet protection but it's definitely not a "smooth glide". I don't recommend buying.

I use this mat over carpet and under my castered chair in my home office…daily use but intermittent. I recommend it for residential lightweight use; not for office daily use.
