The mat does the job. After I watched my wife struggle with a straight-backed chair to provide her with a small office I lent her my roll-about chair and mat I had bought at Staples a couple of years ago. She like both so well that we returned to Staples and bought another chair and mat. She likes both and finds the chair to be more comfortable and the mat to permit ease of movement.

The quality isn't there. It is so much thinner that my old one. It is so thin that the rollers make indentations in the plastic. Very hard to roll the chair while sitting in it.

Expensive crumpled plastic.

I needed this for work otherwise I’d return it. It was delivered folded in half with tons of crumpled areas. Had to use a hair dryer to get the large bits flattened. Chair mat moves around on hardwood floor. Make sure to move slowly.
