I expected the mat to have beveled edges and be a little thicker for carpet. Because I have thicker carpet the mat isn't as functional since the chair sinks into the mat itself which eventually will crack and need replacement. But it's better than trying to roll on the carpet.

My chair rolls around easily. And there is a lip on the edge which doesn’t seem to show up in the pictures. None of these last forever but I think this one will serve me for a long time. And I’m working at this desk everyday!

Material is to soft chair wheels dent the plastic and therefore the chair/wheels do not slide easy. You need the hard plastic type.

Shipping can be improved

Very disappointed tape used for shipping. Mat was rolled up for shipping but it was taped with a nasty economy packing tape that shreds when you try to remove it. Took over 20 minutes to remove all the tape and residue from the mat. Last time I had one shipped it was wrapped in shrink wrap plastic taping making it easy to open and not leave any leftover tape and residue. Although mat is for high pile carpet it still dents when sitting in chair all day and the chair sticks in the ruts.
