I really liked it. Moved into a new apartment in retirement home and the very first thing I purchased for it was the chair mat. My computer chair would not roll on the new carpet on the floor. It was just perfect on the floor by my computer/

Supposed to be for medium pile carpet... Constantly slides across carpet. Nubs are almost non-existent! Not worth the money!

This matt is so soft and flexible the chair sinks into it as if there's no matt at all. I saw it was recommended for short pile carpet and we're on a hardwood floor with industrial carpet so I figured it would be great. DOES NOT make it easier to roll the chair in fact it's worse than the carpet alone. I put it into the store room incase someone else wants it.

No Chair Mats last forever but I have had good luck with Chair Mats from Staples. I would recommend them. Plus I am on them about 8 hours a day.
