DOES NOT HAVE TO QUALITY I EXPECTED

THIS MAT IS USED AT OUR HOME COMPUTER DESK. NEW CARPET WAS INSTALLED IN NOVEMBER SO WE NEEDED A MAT TO PROTECT THE CARPET. I GUESS IN A SENSE IT PROTECTS THE CARPET BUT THERE ARE IN DENTATIONS FROM THE CHAIR IN THE MAT AND IT MAKES IT HARD FOR THE CHAIR TO ROLL ON THE MAT.

While this seems to be a reasonably good quality mat it is not nearly that good in use. The mat is advertised as a "Berber Mat". Berber is a stiff somewhat coarse loop carpet . This mat has NO GRIPPERS on the underside? I was concerned about that from the minute I saw it but decided to try it anyway. It took me less than 1 day to decide to return it because it was constantly moving around on the carpet and had twice moved so far that it was bent up against the desk. I packed the mat up and took it to my Local Staples to return it. Like usual they gave me the run-around but eventually took it back. I'll never again buy something like this by mail. Who evaluates these things?

i recently bought a new house with all new carpet and was concerned that my swivel chair wheels would mess up the carpet or leave dents in it. my previous home had a big circle in the carpet under the chair so i didn't want that to happen. i ended up purchasing this and it seems to be working just fine.

The product performs great as it was intended to do. Protects the expensive wood floor and the chair easily rolls on the mat.

small personal office and this size was perfect for the space and the chair rolls so easily on it without a "drop off" on the edge

[...] after year and half of use its completely cracked with holes in it. i called about the lifefime warranty and was told that i if my office chair has carpet castor wheels then there is no warranty. There was not literature with my mat when i recieved it so how would i know this? there is no literature on staples website about this either so again there is no way i would know this. But the castor wheel issue aside my mat was still cracked from the get go and just got worse over time - regardless of the type of wheels being used. any way i do not recommend this product i might check out a different brand for my replacement.
