Bit overpriced - thick understandably for reliability. But because it is stored at the store in a cylinder its difficult to lay out flat. And it is somewhat bumpy to roll over. We currently have it on industrial/commercial carpeting.
It's rectangular that's what I like most about this mat. I got rid of my rug and replaced with is hardwood mat for easy cleaning to minimize fleas(I have pets)and dust mites accumulation.
I really like my mat--I just wish it wouldn't ruin so quickly. I had a huge hole in mine (but I think that is my fault since I have to roll around it so much all day long!). LOVE IT:)
The mat is fine but it quickly shows my office chair wheel indentations. I'm not sure how you would get around this problem unless you made the product much thicker - which is not realistic. The mat "lifespan" is about 4-6 months then it starts cracking (from the weight on the indentations and 'aging)')
