Does the job

My old chair mat got so brittle with age that it broke apart and the chair wheels were getting stuck in the holes so this one is a nice change for me. It seems to be thick enough and keeps its position on the carpet without moving around. I wish it were a little bigger but I did not want to pay what the bigger ones cost. I like that it's clear because you can see the carpet color underneath and the mat isn't so noticeable. I've read reviews of cheap chair mats where the customers complain that they're so thin the chair dents deep into the mat and makes it hard to roll the chair around. I don't have that problem with this mat. It dents in slightly which isn't a problem.

LOW PILE CARPET MAT

The thinner mats I had were fine on a non-pile carpet but they did not work on a pile carpet... they were moving side-ways or forward and backwards when I moved chairs on it.... thus tried this LOW PILE CARPET CHAIR MAT which is thicker but obviously does not work on a pile carpet either. It moves also but not as much. I will not continue buying these mats maybe will find a much thicker and heavier mat which is suited for Pile carpets....

This mat works well for area rugs and low pile carpet...no issues functions well but could be a bit longer!

A Very Good Chair Mat

We purchased this mat for our home-office and we are very pleased with the result. It covers the space we needed and so far it has done the job of allowing the desk chair to roll easily on the carpet. We would recommend this mat to all.

I think this product would be great if it was used as recommended on a flat pile carpet. I am using it on a high pile carpet and it still does the job but there are divots that I have to roll out of and I don't think it will last as long.
