I bought this because of the hardwood floors in my office. It doesn't have a beveled edge like one we bought before from Staples so visually it's not as nice and I guess there would be a bit of a drop-off if the chair were to roll off the mat. It works fine though. I was worried about how it would arrive since we had to have it shipped. It came folded in the box on a cold day. We left it warm up before slowly bringing it the flat state. I was surprised that it did go flat and shows no bumps or other issues.

Good item to have in the office. It is much easier to move around on with the office chair than directly on the carpet.

I bought three of these for the office during a 20% off promotion. They're pretty basic. Other options are surprisingly more expensive. It does gas-off a plastic smell for a few days.

It's actually smaller than I had before and while I keep and use this one I will be sure next year to order the larger version. These last me just about a year before they start cracking.

This flat carpet chair mat is definitely worth paying a little extra over its rollup counterpart. I've only had this for a little over one week and it is amazing! Very durable and strong. It fit perfectly with my desk at home and doesn't move or shift. I compared this to a couple of other higher priced mats before purchasing this one. The price is right and Staples always offers coupons and discounts so it was a bargain.

+200 lb guy siting on a wheeled chair makes the wheels sink in a little bit and hard to start moving but once I am going it rolls fine. I think if it were a little thicker it would help stand up. Also was very dirty when I got it delivered. I had to clean it 2-3 times before the papertowel came back clean. Forget trying to clean the bottom spikes make that impossible. Maybe with a hose outside but its winter now... dirt was mostly dust and grit. Looked like someone had dragged it through a dessert before puting it on the truck. icecream and chocolate sauce everywhere.

Easy to install under the desk and your chair rolls across it easily. It's big enough to accommodate the bigger desk I have it under as well!
