Be sure to take measurements under your desk prior to ordering this one. Other than its size this is an amazing chair mat! We had been purchasing the cheaper option and replacing them almost yearly. This one should last us a few years! Love that the edges are beveled for easy chair movements too.

Product was delivered and just left at the front door in the mid-day sun. The materiel softened and it folded itself over. It took forever to get it to lay flat on the floor. Next time I will make sure it has the tapered lip since the square edge has already become a tripping hazard. This one seems to be thinner and not as rigid as the one it replaced which was purchased at Staples about 5 years ago.

Indentations from chair

The first mats we bought were designed for low pile carpet. Very thin and indented easily from the chair casters. Realized we should have picked up the medium pile based on the Staples measuring guide. Returned those for these. The medium pile mat still gets indents from the chair (I get stuck in the ruts!). Hopefully it will at least protect the carpet. Time will tell.
