[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Tech Surge Protector offers a compact and convenient solution for protecting your electronics while also providing handy USB charging ports. My overall impression was quite positive. It feels sturdy enough for everyday use and the combination of standard outlets and USB ports makes it quite a versatile addition to any desk setup. I primarily used this power strip with my gaming laptop and an external monitor plugged into the standard outlets. For the USB ports I charged my smartphone mouse and wireless earbuds. It handled all of these devices without any issues whatsoever. The three standard outlets felt adequate for a small desk setup. The inclusion of three USB ports (one being USB-C) is a definite plus. It’s incredibly convenient to be able to charge my portable devices directly from the power strip without needing extra wall adapters. This feature alone significantly enhances its functionality. What I liked most about this surge protector power strip was its practicality and space-saving design. Being desk mountable is a fantastic feature allowing you to keep it within easy reach and off the floor contributing to a tidier workspace. The 900 joule surge protection offers peace of mind that my devices are safeguarded as well. The 5ft cord length also provided enough flexibility for placement and mounting onto my desk. Overall it's a well-thought-out and functional surge protector for everyday tech needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid little surge protector – does the job! I’ve been using this Staples surge protector on my desk and it’s been great. It’s small enough to fit nicely without cluttering up my space but still gives me three outlets and a USB port which is super handy for charging my phone. It feels sturdy and well-built and I like knowing it has 900 joules of protection in case of any power issues. Overall it’s just a simple reliable option that works exactly like I hoped it would. No complaints!

Great Surge Protector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this surge protector from Staples! It has multiple options for various cords including 2 USB and 1 USB-C. It is the perfect length and easy to conceal behind other things because of the round base. The only thing that we would change is maybe adding one other receptacle above the USB inserts to get the most out of the space but overall it is a great product that we use for many things around our house including tvs computers and household items.

Very handy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This surge protector is very handy. When I first opened it I was worried that the metal would scratch my desk. However soon I saw the two rubber pads. They had thought of it! The surge protector was very easy to install and has a small footprint. Compared to the long surge protector bars this is more compact and does not take up as much horizontal room which I really liked. The USB-C and A ports were also great since all the phones and tablets in my house use them to charge. I can see how the C port would be useless for some people though. The indicator light is clear but not super bright. If the room is dark and you're in bed you don't notice a bright light on your desk. Another really thoughtful design was the plug. It is curved so you can use it on the top socket without blocking the bottom. So far I have only plugged in the 3 prong and the USB-C cord but I look forward to having all my plugs consolidated in one place and not having to unplug the laptop or desk lamp from the wall when I need to plug in my phone. The only flaw would be that the unit slides off the bracket rather easily. However I'm still keeping 5 stars since that could be from the way the edge of the desk is curved.

Universal charger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This power strip is so universal! It not only allows for outlet plug ins but also has a USB port to charge a phone or other devices. This power strip is great for someone who might work from home or to have in an office space! I currently use it for a desk lamp laptop and the USB port for my phone. This power strip also comes with another piece that allows you to connect all the cords to a desk or table to keep things a little more organized. The only negative thing about this power strip is the the cord that is used to plug into an actual outlet isn't very long. Overall this power strip is substantial for my office and gives me the flexibility to charge so many different devices. I think the USB is what sets it a part from other power strips and is a great asset!

It’s a solid option for anyone looking to power multiple devices without clutter. The inclusion of both traditional outlets and USB ports made it especially convenient for charging smaller electronics without needing additional adapters. I used this power strip with a combination of devices including a laptop charger a desk lamp and a phone charger. The USB ports were great for directly powering a tablet and a wireless headset which helped free up the regular outlets for other gear. The number of outlets (3 AC + 3 USB) felt just right for a small workspace. I appreciated having the USB ports—it’s a smart feature that adds flexibility especially when dealing with limited outlet space. My favorite aspect was the compact desk-mountable design which kept cables organized and off the floor. However I do wish it came with reusable mounting tape instead of the permanent mount which would make repositioning easier without damaging surfaces. All in all it’s a well-designed convenient surge protector with solid features for everyday tech use.

It’s small and takes minimal space however has more than adequate spots to plug in all your tech. I used mostly for cell phone chargers rechargeable ring cameras iPads and laptops. This is a great little device!

Great surge protector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this surge protector has been great. I love that it gives you the option of 2 different USB plugs or a regular 3 prong outlet. We have used it for our headspa massage beds and so far it has worked great. We also plug in a 100watt facial steamer and have had no issues. It's also a sleek look which I love. I would 100% recommend this product to others!
