Quality surge protector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I like the size of this surge protector it is not HUGE like some of the ones I've used but has ample outlets and a variety of options. Two standard USBs and a USB-C meets all my charging needs. I'm one of those people with a mix of chargers for each device and with 2 kids and lots of devices it's nice to have options for outlets at my fingertips. I can charge my smart watch e-reader phone and tablet all at once while having the option to add more to the mix. The cord is the perfect length for my desk but not so long I have a bunch of extra cord to manage. Overall a well designed piece. While I liked the feature of being able to attached it to my desk and the fact that it's removable -- the attachment contraption was a bit bulky for my taste.

Great compact surge protector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This surge protector is a great size and compact to fit comfortably on the desk and does not budge with the included desk clamp. I really like having the option of the usb/usb-c to save space on the surge protector. This allows me to not take the outlets to charge my phone/watch

Great multi product surge protector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the surge protector for a couple weeks now and it has been extremely stormy in my area. It gives me peace of mind knowing this will protect my electronics during a surge. It is heavy duty and has lots of plug-in options. I have used this to plug in my laptop phone and music device. The plug-in options are plentiful and varied.

Great Way to Cut Down Cord Clutter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This USB strip has worked wonders for my desk/surrounding area cleanup. Gone are the days of dangling cords every which way (monitor laptop phone lamp …) and I still have extra outlets for less permanent electronics. Can’t speak to its surge protection ability (as far as I know have not had one recently) but I have faith it will do its job.

It’s small enough to fit nicely without cluttering up my space but still gives me three outlets and a USB port which is super handy for charging my phone. It feels sturdy and well-built and I like knowing it has 900 joules of protection in case of any power issues. Overall it’s just a simple reliable option that works exactly like I hoped it would. No complaints!

My overall impression was quite positive. It feels sturdy enough for everyday use and the combination of standard outlets and USB ports makes it quite a versatile addition to any desk setup. I primarily used this power strip with my gaming laptop and an external monitor plugged into the standard outlets. For the USB ports I charged my smartphone mouse and wireless earbuds. It handled all of these devices without any issues whatsoever. The three standard outlets felt adequate for a small desk setup. The inclusion of three USB ports (one being USB-C) is a definite plus. It’s incredibly convenient to be able to charge my portable devices directly from the power strip without needing extra wall adapters. This feature alone significantly enhances its functionality. What I liked most about this surge protector power strip was its practicality and space-saving design. Being desk mountable is a fantastic feature allowing you to keep it within easy reach and off the floor contributing to a tidier workspace. The 900 joule surge protection offers peace of mind that my devices are safeguarded as well. The 5ft cord length also provided enough flexibility for placement and mounting onto my desk. Overall it's a well-thought-out and functional surge protector for everyday tech needs.

Love the USB option as well as USB-C! 3 standard outlets with the addition of the USB and USB-C was all that I needed to swap out what I had. Happy to have everything on a surge protector now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staples Tech Surge protector 2 outlet with 2 USB ports is an ideal product to have if you need to plug in appliances or fixtures and want the added security of having a surge protector. The really nice feature is the additional 2 USB ports on the base. The cord is thick and durable and the base is round approx 4" in diameter. I chose to use this product in my bedroom next to my bed to plug in my nightstand lamp and I use the USB ports to charge my tablet and phone. The one downfall I noticed was when charging my tablet I need to plug it into the outlet to charge verses the USB port because the USB port didn't charge nearly as fast as the outlet. The speed for charging my phone was adequate with the USB port . I think I would prefer a stronger charging capability from the USB port to handle both devices. I did like how compact the product is because I didn't have a need for the larger multiple outlet strips in the area.
