This replaced an economy file cabinet that did not lock nor did the drawers roll on wheels. It was miserable to use not secure because it did not lock and when I would go to push the drawer in the cabinet would move around. However with my new cabinet none of those problems exist any more. The drawers move easily and the cabinet is easy to lock. I have my printer sitting on it and there is no more movement or wobbling when the printer is going because this new cabinet is sturdy.

This file cabinet is durable and has deep drawers which gives it more filing capacity. I had purchased a ‘light use’ file cabinet earlier and was really disappointed in the quality AND the drawers started jamming often. Returned it to Staples. One negative comment: this file cabinet arrived in a solid box and was well-protected BUT it arrived with a dent on the top of the cabinet near the front of the upper drawer. This dent doesn’t affect the drawer function but does cause the cabinet to look a little used!
