Iced coffee perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the convenience of k-cup pods, but I wasn’t a fan. However, it’s only because I prefer my coffee with more flavor. So this was an easy fix. All I had to do was add in some of my flavored creamer. Delish!

Delicious Convenient Coffee

I love a good cup of coffee, and it’s so easy to make with these coffee pods. Personally, I prefer my coffee light so I do add quite a bit of milk as the flavor is strong. If I had to choose between the original or French vanilla, I’d recommend the French vanilla. It’s a bit sweeter than the original.

Nice to have on hand, and actually tastes differen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a 10-count box of Dunkin’ COLD K-cups complimentary for testing purposes; the two flavors I received were plain coffee and French vanilla. I like iced coffee almost daily in the late spring through early fall, and having K-cups on hand is nice for when I’m not in the mood to use (and subsequently clean) my other machine that I use for ground coffee drinks. I also like that these K-cups are specifically formulated for iced coffee purposes—the packaging doesn’t have any specific detail on HOW these are formulated, but I suspect that the pods are more concentrated or contain stronger coffee compared to a regular K-cup. I did head-to-head taste tests of the Dunkin’ COLD pods versus a regular pod brewed over ice (with equal amounts of sweetener and creamer added), and the Dunkin’ pods definitely had stronger flavor that didn’t get watered down as the ice continued melting. The plain coffee flavor is nice because you can really customize what direction you want your drink to go in, but I am partial to vanilla flavors as a whole—however, I don’t like artificial flavors as an ingredient and Dunkin’ does use artificial flavor in its French Vanilla version, so that’s a bit disappointing. There is, to me, a subtly noticeable difference between them but once you add your creamer, sweetener, etc it’s pretty much a moot point taste-wise. So, I certainly recommend having these around if you like iced coffee at home and your budget can include K-cups—but, I think I’m actually more interested in a bag version of this formula since I have another machine for regular ground coffee and that would be more environmentally-friendly and probably cost-efficient over time.

Flavor is just right and perfect a little in between not to mild but also not to strong just right. Tasted super smooth with no gritty flavor or texture. Super affordable and much easier to make at home than waiting in line in the morning for a coffee run.
