[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're already familiar with recycled cartridges so is nothing new to us. I have seen both great and garbage ones and I will say I have no issues with this product and it performs just as new. I always try to be environmentally conscious so I love the idea of anything being repurposed and if I can save a few dollars in the process even better! I did recieve this as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel so I'm unaware of the actual cost but I'm going to assume it would be more affordable than brand new. Based on it's quality performance I would consider purchasing.

Recycled Ink

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Packaging was easy to open and clearly labeled black or color. The cartridges were easy to install although I was a little concerned at first. These cartridges were smaller than the cartridges that came with the printer but they clicked in just the same. The printer realized it was different cartridges and realigned itself with a test sheet. I printed a few different things some in just black and some in color. The black printed perfect and looked great however with the color cartridge even after realignment if I looked closely at the color pages you could see pink peeking out of the edge of the design. That being said it still could have been my printer itself because the black printed just fine and I only noticed because I was looking closely. I did really like the fact that it contained a package with a free label to recycle old cartridges. I appreciate supporting a company that prioritizes recycling and reducing waste.

When installed the printer displayed a prompt directing me to remove and reinstall the cartridge. No luck with that. It also leaked ink. Printed circuit interface did not match the on on the old cartridge. Ordered and installed an HP cartridge. No problem. Do not recommend this if you need ink now.

This was Staples brand black ink cartridge that fit perfectly into my HP Printer. I am always on the lookout for a cheaper version of the ink cartridges that I buy. The quality of this ink cartridge was just the same as the name brand which was nice to see! It was super easy to install and get started with too. We do not do a lot of printing in our home but it was good to see that this ink was high quality and did exactly was I was hoping it would do! I would definitely purchase this to use!
