I bought this during my search for the perfect dark roast k-cup, I was upset that I was lied to. This "dark" coffee has the taste of a light roast.
Pros: None
Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Not Enough Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Weak, tasteless coffee

My taste runs to medium roast coffee, flavorful but not dark or bitter.In fact, one of my favorites after tasting so many is Folger's Colombian. I bought the Black Silk sample pack expecting something even better. I found it shockingly thin and tasteless.

Best cup of Coffee

I really like that this has a dark roast coffee flavour but does not have the bitter aftertaste that most dark roasts have. Very smooth aftertaste. Even great for people who like milder coffees, because of the smooth finish.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter, Smooth Taste

Very smooth and flavorful coffee. It doesn't have the bitter taste that a lot of bold flavors have. Several friends and family have tried it at my house and have all liked it. Many have said they're very surprised at how good it is. If you like a super-bold cup of dark coffee, I wouldn't recommend this. However, if you like a well-balanced dark roast with a smooth, flavorful taste, this is perfect!

Found this to be my favorite unflavored coffee. Doesn't upset my stomach. Has an excellent aroma.

Strong yet Smooth

When I am in the mood for a dark roast without a bitter aftertaste I go for Folgers Black Silk. I have tried others but this is the only one I have found I would recomend to friends.
